Last year I was able to kick off my business in Iowa by offering discounted sessions one day of the year. Offering these sessions at a discount was such a fun way for me to meet people in my new community! I knew I wanted to offer a discounted mini session option once this year again. As I planned for my homeschooling family's own photography needs for back to school photos I realized this could be a fun opportunity for others as well!
I picked up an antique school desk from facebook market and had my husband refinish it. My family and I complied some of our own thrifted vintage decor and scored some new finds over the past few weeks!
Whether you homeschool or attend public or private school this time of year can be a filled with lots of time and money spent. Sometimes people book these sessions because money is tight, sometimes it's a quick and lower-risk way for them to get to know a potential photographer for the future seasons of life! No matter the reason, I'm happy to help because I truly believe everyone deserve photos they LOVE! ❤️

These sessions will take place at a location roughly 15-20 minutes from West Des Moines and will include a 10 minute session with edited images for you to download. Rain date available! If you're used to a full session the amount of time may sound super short, but it's often the perfect amount of time for little kids who have only a small window of willingness for photos!

Please note, these sessions are for school age children ages 5 and up!
During our time together you'll have access to a vintage desk set up or you can opt for regular portraits without props! Please book an additional time slot for more siblings or to have more time!
